It exceeds all human norms when a Chair person of a famous educational institution l that had produced very famous achievers in the past several decades. To arrest a person of repute even if it be for the negligence of the manager of swimming pool and its lessons seems absurd enough expose the effort of the authorities to please the vengeful attitude of parents who failed to get their children admitted in the said school.//

My response –
I beg to differ with you. Reputation is an additional attribute someone earns through his or her skill and hardwork. That provides a social recognition and at times may bestow a person of repute with a few special privileges. It does not grant any one a carte blanche to be socially negligent, acting or not acting in the interest of the society, especially when it comes to the safety of children.
One can’t escape responsibility by walking out of the scene majestically waving the ivory walking-stick of appreciation of the establishment and acting haughty.
